Far Cry 4 - Game Not Saving Properly. Make sure you have the 3dm folder copied over if you. OK, so I had this problem to where my Far Cry 4 wasn't saving so I checked around and I found out that it actually was saving but the game wasn't reading where the.

First of all - Way to screw the pooch Ubisoft Montreal. So very disappointing, and in this day-and-age, with millions of people to learn from. Sad - Then Skidrow come out with an equally-poor release for those of us that try-before-we-buy, and don't know how much of the nightmare is Ubi or their ham-handed release. Here's what I have, what you need, and what I've found to get this goin' happy-like! It's not listed as officially supported, but I have this running on Vista 64. If you're trying to run this in XP, or a 32-bit OS.

Read system requirements before you waste your time downloading things. My system is: Vista Ultimate 64-bit SP2 Q6600 Core 2 Quad @ 2.4 GHz (this processor was released in 2007) 8GB DDR2 @ 333MHz AMD Radeon HD 6850 w/ 1024MB (13.12 drivers - have not tried/needed beta drivers yet) 1680x1050 Native Resolution 1) I grabbed Drarbg's (GREEN SKULL) SKIDROW release: 2) Then I snagged Drarbg's (GREEN SKULL) Update, the 'Far.Cry.4.v1.03.Update-SKIDROW' one that's here: Mount/Install the game - Don't bother copying contents of SKIDROW folder from ISO. Don't launch game. Run Far.Cry.4.v1.03.Update.exe from the 'Update' download obtained in step 2. DO copy the contents of the SKIDROW folder over to the: 'C:Program Files (x86)UbisoftFar Cry 4bin' folder.

I ran the game, and all worked swell right off the bat, UNTIL I exited the game and the 2+ hours I put it were apparently gone, as the next time I launched, I was only presented with the option to start a NEW GAME! I must right-click on 'FarCry4.exe' and choose 'Run as administrator', or create a shortcut on the desktop and right-click it and choose 'Run as administrator' every time as 'Run this program as an administrator' is greyed out (and not a simple fix to explain here - look it up).

Not starting the game this way yields random results; sometimes progress is indicated, sometimes graphical setting are reset, etc. I would recommend creating a shortcut on your desktop, because YOU CAN SKIP ALL THE INTRO SHIT!!! Right-click the shortcut and append -skipintro 1 outside of the ' in the 'Target:' box - The text will be exactly this (unless installed elsewhere): 'C:Program Files (x86)UbisoftFar Cry 4binFarCry4.exe' -skipintro 1 With this below-minimum spec machine, I can run this game with 'Ultra', but it ain't butter - I run it on 'High', and have played for about 8 hours so far. I seem to average above 24FPS, which is completely do-able! Mouse felt odd at first, so I found a fix that made it 'seem' more gooder!
